Hi, I am newbie in OpenSUSE. Several days ago I Installed openSUSE using openSUSE 11.2 Installer (net) through my vista. It seems that the installer wanted to install through internet but unfortunately I can not access it. Could anyone help me please how to install or uninstall it offline. The commands are like these:
Booting openSUSE 11.2 installer (NET)
(hdØ ,Ø)
I want to create a persistent Live opensuse thumbdrive.
1.One way is to install opensuse to thumbdrive. But,that will not be live. Will standard yast installer make the thumdrive bootable automatically?

The advanced Butter/Better/B-tree Filesystem, Btrfs, is still labeled as experimental in the Btrfs Wiki and on Oracle's Btrfs page though the Oracle page looks outdated.
SM player works yes, but how do i get the thumbnail previews.
Hey,
This is just a quick question I think.
I'm wondering how I would go about dual-booting Ubuntu with openSUSE installed first?
I'm just a little bit concerned about the versions of Grub overwriting the openSUSE version or theme or something.
Hi all,
I have openSUSE 11.1 and Thunderbird version 2.0.
However I want to install Thunderbird 3 and I want to do so with YAST.
So I :
YAST --->Software repositories
which gives me a screen with on the right hand side :
opensuse-11.1-non-oss
opensuse-11.1-oss
opensuse-11.1-Update
opensuse-11.1-0
With openSUSE 11.2 right around the corner, let’s take a look at what’s new and interesting in the GNOME desktop for this release. Highlights include a preview of GNOME 3.0, new applets and application updates, and the incredibly attractive Sonar theme new for 11.2.
openSUSE 12.3 Milestone 2 was released two days ago, a month after Milestone 1 was released. The final edition, openSUSE 12.3, is not expected until around the ides of March 2013, so a milestone release offers a good opportunity to see what goodies will be on the final version.
I haven’t used openSUSE since version 7.3, when it was still called SuSE Linux.
