After I installed openSUSE 11.3, the old text documents created in openSUSE 11.2, with OpenOffice Writer, are showng 'blue wavy lines' in them, in place of spaces. What is this starnge penomenon and how to get rid of this annoyance?
When i save an openoffice Calc Document in Microsoft Excel File all the Greek characters are appeared with the symbol "?". The only solution is to save it to *.xls from the windows version of OO.org.
Can this problem be solved??
I want Also to notice that OpenOffice Calc Crushes too many times in some particular functions.
I recently switched my system to 64bit openSuSE11.2. Works so far.
One problem is that one commercial product (german Duden corrector for OpenOffice) does not work with the 64bit version of OpenOffice but only with 32bit.
I have the version of openoffice below but despite ticking the right selections at install and then additionally downloading dictionaries to add as extensions I still get the thesaurus function greyed out after selecting a word.I must be missing something, has anyone any suggestions?OpenOffice.org 3.2.1 OOO320m19 (Build:9505)ooo-build 18.104.22.168, Debian package 1:3.2.1-11+squeeze2
