Hello,
I just downloaded an attachment from email. When I open the pps file Libre Office opens and the presentation starts instantly ( i like that). I can look at the photo slides but when i "end the show" or press escape the program closes.
Is there any way to end the slide-show without closing the program so i can make changes?
folks. I finally convinced my sister to drop Windows at her small business and go Ubuntu. She complained, though, that she does not want to use Libre Office and is willing to use Microsoft Office instead. I was like, ok, then.
Then, she asked:
- Libre office is the default, right?
- Right.
- So, if someone gives me a document, by default it will open on Libre Office.
I am looking or icon/option for office communicator
Embed in office power point 2010, when click icon running presentation, it should be open direct video chat
i recently installed Ubuntu 11.10 which of course comes with libre office.
I'm used to excel 2010 (and lots of conditional formatting options) and i thought libre office was great for everything I'd ever have to do except for the conditional formatting..
I need to export *.pps, *.ppt, *.ppsx, and *.pptx files to swf files. In Windows I used iSpring for Power Point, and worked well.
I am searching for an add-in for Libre Office Impress (for Linux).
I have a client that needs to run a teaching suite and they consist of many Powerpoint slides on the network. I'm building a large touchscreen interface with a custom front end where they'll be able to select the slides and display them.
a) Is there any guarantee the slides will be exactly the same in Libre Office?
Hi
When I have a libreoffice writer document open the icon does not appear in the launcher, nor does it appear in the 'alt tab' switcher list. Anyone else have this / know a solution? (Calc works fine FYI)
Just installed 11.2 x86_64 from Linux Format magazine DVD and updated.
I note that I have both Waste Bin and Trash icons on the desktop. Also an Open Office icon and a ? icon which also is for Open Office.
What is going on? Which icon is correct one and can I/should I delete the unwanted icon?

Hints from previousForum posts suggests that installing Microsoft fonts from the AUR solves the problem. However, this seems like skating on thin ice to me, so I decided to move to Libre Office. The question is how to conver
