Hello, is there a way to disable one or more tabs in Kickoff menu (and/or customize their contents)?
I'd like to disable the documents part of the recent history tab, but I found only an editor for the applications tab in Kickoff menu.
I had just rebooted my laptop after 70 days of uptime, so I'm not sure if it's the large amount of updates to KDE that were installed without rebooting or what, but anyways, when I boot up my computer takes about a MINUTE before plasma-desktop is responsive.
I just switched to KDE for testing and I found something quite funny:
The KDE Kickoff Menu showes up after about 1 - 2 seconds when it is klicked on.
(Klick 1 - 2 Seconds (System Freezes) Kickoff appears.)
The System freezes completly.
Not only the menu, everything.
I switched in the effect to monitor Framerate, this is when I discovered the freezing.
I'm apparently having severe problems with (possibly?) KDE.
Kickoff launcher is very laggy, it opens after a clicking it, but it takes around one minute to open.
This itself would be workable, but the worse thing is that it is unable to launch any application.
It is very fortunate that for some reason kde always loads same applications (firefox, kile, terminal...) that I had open when I shut down
Hi, I've just started using Chakra after a very long spell away from linux and I have a few questions for different forums. In this instance.1. I've just installed firefox 24 from the extra repo and whilst everything works correctly - I can launch firefox from extra/usr/bin/firefox - the binary shortcut was not added to kickoff or anywhere else that I can see.2.
