Is it possible to create a lockscreen replacement at the application level that replaces the device's security lock, whether it be PIN, passphrase, pattern or face unlock, or potentially a new method?
I noticed today that when screen is locked with slide security you can still pull down status bar and unlock phone as well you can hit the menu button to unlock phone. If I put to face or pattern these options go away. Is there a way to lock status bar when in lockscreen? And more so lock menu button in lock screen so the phone doesn't open in my procket? I'm running Baked Bean ROM.
I am trying to use Widgetlocker as my lock screen on my HTC Evo 4G. I am using Android version 2.3.5.

I believe most of you know about it.
It's light and very easy to use. But only one pattern is available and it overrides any stock password/pattern!
2. WidgetLocker Lockscreen
This is the most amazing app i have ever seen. Highly customizable with many formats and allows using applications/widgets on the lockscreen!

Regardless of the lockscreen settings I implement, whenever I turn off the screen, and then back on - I get no lockscreen.
Is there a way to have brightness option on the lock screen with secure pattern ?

I have it set at 1/3 to conserve battery however there are times when I go to use phone in daylight and cannot see the screen thus cannot enter the security swipe on the lock screen.
Hello! And thank you for taking the time to read this. So, recently I installed DashClock to my lockscreen on my Galaxy S4. So far I really love it! Only problem I have is, whenever I get a text or a missed call it switches back to my default lockscreen instead of DashClock. What do I mean by default lockscreen? I mean that little widget type thing you get that says new message on the lockscreen.
i set a PIN unlock for lockscreen last night and i forgot it. i cant get in my phone and i dont want to hard reset because i have lots of important data:crying:
please anyone who has a solution help fast
