Hey guys, i wanna install older versions of fedora(10 or 11), and after looking everywhere, i found that if you search the available mirrors through the download page. This allows you to select mirrors with the version you want. I didnt know if that was the way to get older versions or if there is another way.

A few years ago I thought Ubuntu used to have a netbook version, but I can no longer find a source to it. Or a version that was much less taxiing then the full versions.
Please advise of what is the best version to use for older computers and / or net-book such as an Acer Aspire One.
Reasons for this is cause an app I use supports only older kernel versions. And I need newer Ubuntu versions cause they're supported(still have repos)and support for gnome shell.I currently use Ubuntu 10.04.

However, this requires installing very old versions of gcc, g++, and cpp. These versions no longer appear in the Ubuntu repositories. Is there a repository I should add to get older versions of the software? Or is there a better way to get these packages?
5.1 breaks the controls in games that have a joypad and multitouch. The joypad stops working when I touch the screen to fire or do anything else. I've narrowed the problem down to the kernel. Is there any way to try out older versions of the kernel? Dies anyone have some they could post?
I figured since L can't take the time to keep up with all the previous releases of #2 and being that I always see people asking about older versions, I figured I would post up everything I have that's #2 related. Change log is located at the bottom so you can see what was changed with each version.
If you have something I dont, post it up and Ill add it to the OP and give credit accordingly.

Legacy OS 2, a Puppy Linux base distro aimed at legacy hardware, as the name implies, has been released. The focus of this latest release was on usability and, of course, making sure that everything worked with older hardware even if it meant using older versions of the apps included."The focus was to look at all expects of Legacy OS and mak... Hello everyone...I have a Wacom UD0608R Digitizer ll serial tablet. I have most things working but the stylus is still flaky (I'm using 9.10 64bit). I've tried everything and am aware of the filed bugs for this. I just need to get this working and it looks like 10.04 is not going to help.
