We already saw a leak of the AT&T Atrix HD so we knew it was only a matter of time when it was officially announced. That time is today as Motorola made if official for both AT&T as well as Bell in Canada. Don’t let the titles of both phones fool you, they are both LTE devices so no worries.
17 months ago, the idea of a smartphone’s capabilities changed with the introduction of the Motorola Atrix 4G at CES, a premium device on AT&T’s “4G” HSPA+ network. The original device is one that holds a special place in my heart because it is the single smartphone that swooned me into the world of Android.
When I first saw the Motorola Atrix HD’s landing page which revealed its full specs, I was mildly surprised to see no mention of a lapdock accessory.
Introducing Atrix-MROM. Custom ROM for the Atrix 4G
This is my attempt to build a stable, complete, and fully functional custom ROM for the Atrix 4G completely built from source code; Atrix-MROM is built on top of Cyanogen ROM latest source code, faux123 kernel, and Motorola proprietary drivers. I recompiled all components to guarantee maximum efficiency and performance.
My original Atrix and its replacement have had random rebooting issues. These are happening every couple of minutes. Often enough to make both phones inoperable.
I have been offered to switch to different phone. I love the Atrix if it worked correctly. I would switch to an Atrix 2 if it doesn't have the same problem.
i have a galaxy gio, and i really like the interface and its simplicity, i've also fiddled with a galaxy S2's interface (and its generally the same).
i recently aquired a more powerful motorola atrix, but the interface is terrible, and it cant do some things that my gio can (like become a wireless router without the need for high speed internet connection, the unlock method on the atrix requires
Telstra will be the first telco in Australia to offer the Motorola Xoom tablet - the first device worldwide to run the designed-for-tablets Android 3.0 OS - and the Atrix Android smartphone, billed as the most powerful smartphone in the world, with its dual 1GHz processors.
Motorola recently announced that the Atrix 4G will not get Ice Cream Sandwich, but it appears they at least gave it a shot. A leaked build has appeared in the XDA forums, and it can be installed relatively painlessly. Now obviously this build is going to have issues since Motorola decided not to continue development on it.
Hello, new to the forums. I've been searching around but haven't found a satisfactory answer to my exact question on Google or on here, so I thought I'd join and post.
I can't afford an AT&T 2 year contract plan, so I want to go with a GoPhone plan.
