I want to upgrade my cell to radio 2.13 and Hboot 1.19 as i am on hboot 1.15 right now and want to achieve Raccoon s-off. Is the official RU below is the one that will do it for me? I want to make sure that I will not get an Hboot that is higher than 1.19.

Ok so i'm on HBOOT 1.12.000 and i'm CID NSTAR301 i want to try cm10 for my phone i've been reading about HBOOT and i've learned it's the phone's bootloader. So If i want to install CM9 i have to flash boot.img (kernel) Will it update my HBOOT? I don't want to update my HBOOT but should i? probably not to the latest but something in between? I'm too confused. Anyone can help me solve my doubts?
So, here is my specs:
Phone: HTC Wildfire
S-OFF
Android: 2.2.1
HBOOT: 6.01.1002
My question is; what exatcly do I do now to get my phone rooted?
I mean, where do I start. Since it's 2.2.1 and HBOOT is 6.01.1002 but it's S-OFF, do I have to downgrade something first or?
My brother gave me a rooted HTC Desire. When I pop up the bootloader it says this:
Revolutionary
Bravo PVT3 Ship S-Off
HBOOT - 6.93.1002
MICROP-051d
Touch Panel-Synt0101
Radio-5.11.05.27

I am under the impression that certain ROMs only work with certain HBoot versions (and typically bootloop when they don't work).

I was playing around with 4EXT and didn't really know what I was doing. I think I aborted it during install. Now when I go into Revolutionary - RECOVERY I get the red triangle.

Hey guys,
I got a problem, that I can't root my Desire again, and I don't know why.
My Desire was once rooted, but I unrooted after installing the original RUU 2.2. version of android, After that, I installed 2,3,3 version, but I can't boot it. It shows me some black screen on boot.
I updated to HBOOT 1.0.3.003 with the official ruu upgrades.
Does anybody know if this is possible on the Desire. I've seen threads on XDA for the Nexus One.

My stable, always go back to rom is dGB with 65Mb hboot. But when going to any other rom I always have to flash a new hboot and then flash it back when reverting to dGB.
Hi guys,
Got a couple of questions for you all..
I have a HTC Desire with S-Off and Data++ as hboot.
Now i read about JB roms and i want to try that, but now my problem
JB works only with stock hboot or custom made one.
How can i make a complete backup (hboot+nand) so i can try JB for a while
and if i don't like it restore back from the backup.
I have 4ext to make nand backups, so r
