HD video technology specialist and Logitech subsidiary, LifeSize Communications, has released its first in-house developed stand-alone videoconferencing bridge, finally putting an end to criticisms that it is an 'endpoint company' not a provider of compete videoconferencing systems.

Logitech's high definition videoconferencing technology developer, LifeSize, has upgraded its LifeSize Video Center to enable it to deliver HD video content to iPhones and iPads, and other portable devices that support standard web browsers.

High-definition video collaboration vendor, LifeSize, a division of Logitech, is joining forces with Regus, the world’s largest provider of flexible workspaces, to bring LifeSize HD video conferencing to businesses and the public at more than 240 Regus locations worldwide.

Logitech’s video collaboration division, LifeSize Communications, has strengthened its distribution network in Australia and New Zealand with the appointment of Unity Systems, a business unit of Distribution Central, as the distributor of its HD video conferencing solutions.  

LG and Logitech subsidiary LifeSize Communications has combined their respective HD display and HD videoconferencing technologies to produce an HD videoconferencing terminal and 60cm HD display as a single unit.

Logitech's LifeSize Passport room-based videoconferencing unit is now qualified for used with Skype.
