Nvidia's proprietary driver on UEFI

https://bbs.archlinux.org – I'm not sure whether this is a stroke of luck for myself or whether this is a legitimate solution for using Nvidia's proprietary driver while on a UEFI system. All I had to do was disable kernel modesetting by adding nomodeset to the kernel options, and I can use the driver from [extra] without any issue. I'm using a GTX 670 in this situation.I'm using gummiboot, so here's an example:[root@haruka ~]# cat /boot/efi/loader/entries/arch.conf title Arch Linux linux /vmlinuz-linux initrd /initramfs-linux.img options root=/dev/sda2 ro roo (HowTos)
