Hi,
I had a asus u30jc laptop with dual video NVIDIA OPTIMUS features (Built-in Intel and Nvidia geforce 310M), I just wondering if someone already figure out how the official nvidia driver works, or any tweaks inorder to use the nvidia card, Ive been using this laptop for more than a year now, and i cant figure out or find a tutorials that work (when i try installed any nvidia driver it rende
first at all check lspci | grep -i vgaI have optimus and I see both cards, Intel and nVidia. What do you see?If you install xf86-video-intel instead of nvidia driver, does it work then?
I'm new to linux environment. I have NVIDIA GEForce GT 520M which is Optimus card. I installed ubuntu 12.10 and on the top of that I installed NVIDIA's new driver 304.60 but something went wrong and display manager is totally screwed nothing is displaying properly. All fonts are big and i'm able to access only nautilus as everything went out of the screen.
I have a laptop that has an NVIDIA Optimus graphic card setup. I have tried running Minecraft on that laptop, and the game crashes after login, with the following error:
org.lwjgl.LWJGLException: Could not init GLX
I tried to update my drivers, but no driver update was available.
I have installed ubuntu on my laptop, but i am having problems with the hdmi port. It doesnt seem to exist.
I have a nvidia gt 415m graphic card and a core i5 which would point at a problem with optimus technology, so i tried to install the new nvidia driver 319, which should help with this problem.
I have an ASUS g51vx which has a NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 260M CUDA 1gb graphics card. I have installed ubuntu 9.10 32bit using VMware player running from windows vista 64 bit.
helloi have installed crunchbang staler but i have a little problem with my nvidia graphic card. With the native driver all is ok With the proprietary Nvidia drivers (i have installed it with this post and with the script found on the official nvidia website) my xorg crash when gdm start, solve the problem by deleting the /etc/X11/xorg.conf (i don't have this file after a fresh install it'
Hi,
I'm using Sony Vaio VPCCW26FG (CW Series). It's graphic card is NVidia GeForce GT 330M. I use Ubuntu 10.04 32-bit as my operating system, dual boot with windows 7.
Recently I installed new driver from NVidia 256.53, but looks like this driver is not so stable on my notebook.
Sometimes the NVidia driver is successfully loaded, but sometimes its failed to load.
Here we provide the download link for the latest driver for nVidia GeForce GTX590 VGA graphic card series. This is the nVidia GeForce GTX590 officially certified driver for Windows 7 32bit version 267.85.
