http://forums.fedoraforum.org – hi there i originally installed nvidia driver 319.49 (x86_64) using the .run file, which was working well. But i wanted to try out the cuda toolkit. So i tried to install over it using the rpm. I installed successfully but there were some issues with the nvidia kernel and driver components not being the same version. so i have removed all nvidia and cuda related packages from the system. system does boot now, however, the resolution is limited. i am now trying to install the appropriate driver using the cuda .run file but the installation seems to keep failing. please help me fix this.
