Hi all,
Just now I ran yum update. There was an error message to the effect that the latest nvidia kmod (kmod-nvidia-3.6.1-1.fc17) didn't match the latest kernel, which is still in the 3.5 range.
So I reran yum excluding kernel and kmod-nvidia.

After installing the last update I rebooted and was not able to get to the normal login prompt. I have tried several times using the esc key to see what is failing but it scrolls by to quickly to capture.
I recently had a similar problem that was fixed by installing the latest nvidia driver but this did not seem to help.
