My jelly bean update seemed to be perfect, until late last night. I was using Nova launcher and the phone kept switching between the home screen and the preview screen on its own without me touching any buttons. Over and over and over. Then it would load the media link page, which I've never pressed. Once it loads that page, it essentially freezes.
I was prompted to update swype this morning. I did so, and now everytime I select swype it closes automatically and I get the android keyboard. Anyone else having this issue?
- Swype Beta is checked in Language & Input (android keyboard is selected and grey in this screen)
- Choose Input Method screen. I select "Swype Beta". It flashes to Swype.
Just updated my phone and I can't get in as it doesn't give me any numbers to enter my pin
there's also a crash report for HTC sense/touch but I can't send it
basically can't access anything on my phone, have restarted several times and accessing menu in the middle of a phone call but no luck
was trying to access bootloader but it seems to only turn the phone back on
pic may help?
I noticed that when I installed Jelly Bean my notification bar went grey. Then I installed Nova, and it turned black.
If you use Nova on Jelly Bean on an S3, what colour is your notification bar?
I really love GO Launcher EX, but I was wondering if anyone has ever done a (scientific) test regarding the various launchers available.
Using Nova Launcher and Jelly Bean rom is there a way to change the icons on the lock screen ie. I use Gosms instead of the default messaging app and Enhanced mail instead of Gmail. Would like to change those two icons. Is that possible?
Is my Note 2 the only one that Swype doesn't work right on?
I have used Swype on my last 4 phones but on my Note 2 I have been having some problems. It works great everywhere except in the browser. It doesn't auto space in the browser. I have tried 2 or 3 different versions of Swype and they are all the same.
I bought my galaxy tab 2 10.1 three weeks ago. It came with jelly bean 4.1.1 installed. I'm new to androids so I have been reading forums and anything I can find to familiarize myself with the operating system. It seems that I keep reading about screen capture being the volume button and power button but on mine it is a single touchscreen button.
Just wondering if this was a common occurance? When my phone is on a lower volume at work, I've noticed when I get messages the notification sound doesn't always play. The phone still vibrates and I've made sure its loud enough to hear, it just doesn't play until I restart the phone.
Anyone else getting this?
Currently everything is stock apart from using Nova launcher.
