Notification of errors in Email app

http://androidforums.com – Hi all, Not sure whether this question is best in the Apps forum or the Galaxy S forum but I'll give it a go here first. I use the default Email app to retrieve work email from an Exchange server. Occasionally we have problems with the server but the only way I would know anything about it is if I go into the app in which case it will display an error message. Is there any way to modify the settings to give me a notification in the slider (blind? sweep-down-thingy?) when there are server errors? I don't get mail frequently on that particular account so it's not as if I can rely on (General)

I'm openig this thread because i've a business email from a portuguese server exchange.ptasp.com, and this was configurated on my Galaxy S2, but now they have changed the email account for a griffin server, and when i try to config this email account on my mobile ocorred some errors Error 105 or Error 104.

Someone can help on this situation.

Hi there, as the title suggests I would like to know if there's a way to get a notfication when an email fails to send from another account.

Just to help you understand what I'm asking I'll use an example.

Email 1: Sends email that fails to send (appears red on the email trace due to an error) -system sends notification of error from email 1 to email 2- Email 2: Recieves error notification

I have a client who has recently developed a problem with Outlook.

When attempting to send an email by clicking the send button, nothing happens. After a while, the email is saved to the Drafts folder, but nothing else, the email is not placed in the Outbox.

Clicking send and receive, gets any email from the server that is on there.

I need to set email notification, when facing low disk space. But I need to set this warning on all partitions, not only on C:/.

I scheduled task on event with id 2013, log system, and source server. Will this email notification send mail only when C is low or it will mail a notification when the disk spave on any of the partitions is low?

Every time I receive a notification of a new email my phone vibrates and I can not figure out how to get it to stop.

I have opened my email and gone to Settings -> Clicked on my gmail account -> unchecked vibrate and email notifications

But they persist, its like the email in the notifications and the email app are two separate things, but I can't find where to turn the other

I'm trying to locate an email account, which is auto forwarding to a third party email address, on a Mac Mail server. I have checked Workgroup Manager and check each accounts mail settings but I can't find any account which has the email address or is forwarded to the third party address.

Hi folks I have set up my pop3 email account on my Samsung S4 with no difficulty. However, I also use an email client on my pc and I wish to have them both set NOT to delete email from the server. That way I get all email on both devices and the PC is already set to do this.
