So after trying to get wine to compile after using debootstrap and schroot and that not working right I installed the latest wine from the mepis repo. After installing the latest wine from the mepis repo I didn't need the chroot thing so I uninstalled debootstrap and schroot and now nothing will install anymore.
I'm trying to disable some services from starting at boot time on my Linux Mint 12 laptop.
So I installed chkconfig, which has worked great for me before on Fedora.
However, on Linux Mint 12, it gives me tons of errors.
HiI have created a file here:/etc/init.d/transparentproxyand made it executable by:chmod a+x /etc/init.d/transparentproxybutupdate-rc.d transparentproxy defaultsfailedupdate-rc.d: using dependency based boot sequencing
insserv: warning: script 'K01transparentproxy' missing LSB tags and overrides
insserv: warning: script 'transparentproxy' missing LSB tags and overridesThe file
I removed nginx from startup by running:
$ sudo update-rc.d -f nginx disable
I get the below output:
update-rc.d: using dependency based boot sequencing
insserv: warning: current start runlevel(s) (empty) of script `nginx' overrides LSB defaults (2 3 4 5).
insserv: warning: current stop runlevel(s) (0 1 2 3 4 5 6) of script `nginx' overrides LSB defaults (0 1 6).
Are these harmless warnings
IVe found a ton of documentation on setting up schroot/debootstrap as well as a ton of stuff on jailing sftp and some modest instructions for creating a chrooted shell but i cant find anything on get this all working cohesively.
I have schroot set up with an env at /srv/chroot/systemid.
Hi folks, already posted this in another thread, but that one's marked as 'solved' -- so I think this is a more reasonable place to (re)post:I had to upgrade my wine and found nothing useful neither in the Debian repos nor at WineHq (=>did somebody tell them their upgrade guide is garbage?).

Hi all,I have been using waldorf on my main computer for a couple of months now and it has been rock solid for me.
Might be a bit late, but I've got this issue as well.I cleaned up the "Deprecated key ‘script-config’ used" warning by changing "script-config=arch32/config"toprofile=arch32depending on what you arch32/config did.Still working on why update-binfmts is not installed anymore or what its replacement is.
