Not connecting with the wireless router

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hello, I am using fedora 12, for about 2 months and now I am facing for the first time a problem with the wireless router. After a router restart my computer cannot connect with the router even if it is listed along with other access points on the list. I am sure the password is right because I am currently online with my windows partition using the same router. Output of iwconfig when not trying to connect Code: $ iwconfig wlan0 wlan0    IEEE 802.11bg  Mode:Managed  Frequency:2.412 GHz            Access Point: Not-Associated  Tx-Power=20 dBm            Retry  long limit:7  RTS thr:off  Fragment thr:off           Power Management:off           Link Quality:0  Signal level:0  Noise level:0           Rx invalid nwid:0  Rx invalid crypt:0  Rx invalid frag:0           Tx excessive retries:0  Invalid misc:0  Missed beacon:0 Output of iwconfig when trying to connect Code: $ iwconfig wlan0 wlan0    IEEE 802.11bg  ESSID:"48 Northcote Rd"            Mode:Managed  Frequency:2.412 GHz  Access Point: 00:24:17:AD:D2:CD            Bit Rate=1 Mb/s  Tx-Power=20 dBm            Retry  long limit:7  RTS thr:off  Fragment thr:off           Power Management:off           Link Quality=49/70  Signal level=-61 dBm  Noise level=-66 dBm           Rx invalid nwid:0  Rx invalid crypt:0  Rx invalid frag:0           Tx excessive retries:0  Invalid misc:0  Missed beacon:0 Output of ifconfig when not trying to connect Code: $ ifconfig eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:E0:B8:BA:38:CB            UP BROADCAST MULTICAST  MTU:1500  Metric:1           RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0           TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0           collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000           RX bytes:0 (0.0 b)  TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)           Interrupt:16 lo        Link encap:Local Loopback            inet addr:127.0.0.1  Mask:255.0.0.0           inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host           UP LOOPBACK RUNNING  MTU:16436  Metric:1           RX packets:8 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0           TX packets:8 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0           collisions:0 txqueuelen:0           RX bytes:480 (480.0 b)  TX bytes:480 (480.0 b) wlan0    Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:14:A5:D5:B6:88            UP BROADCAST MULTICAST  MTU:1500  Metric:1           RX packets:77 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0           TX packets:46 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0           collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000           RX bytes:3577 (3.4 KiB)  TX bytes:13392 (13.0 KiB) wmaster0  Link encap:UNSPEC  HWaddr 00-14-A5-D5-B6-88-80-4E-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00            UP RUNNING  MTU:0  Metric:1           RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0           TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0           collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000           RX bytes:0 (0.0 b)  TX bytes:0 (0.0 b) Any idea why this is happening? The wireless used to be working fine until the router restart (switch on/off the hardware) has happened (HowTos)
