I want to install fedora 17 but when select "Start Fedora 17" my pc's hanged After a few minutes and In this period not display any thing and show black screen.
Please Help me!
After a successful install of Fedora 20 from the DVD, I selected Fedora boot from the bootloader menu and it seems to boot but the screen goes blank with a screen saver
message "Input not supported". I am using a old 14" Acer 4/3 monitor plugged into my MoBrd VGA port. This configuration worked fine with Fedora 14 and Windows XP as a dual boot system.
I have bought a HP-g6-2230sa laptop, which comes with win8.
I have managed to install fedora18 in it.
But the problem is I cannot make it to boot f18 by default. The usual process to boot to fedora is: start the machine-> be very fast to press F9-> select Fedora (or else it will go to os boot manager and will boot win8).
I am using Oracle VM Virtualbox Manager to try and install Fedora 20. My host machine is a 64-bit Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. When I try to set up the machine, it asks me what OS I want (normal so far). When I click on the version, there are only general names such as "Fedora" and "Ubuntu", instead of "Fedora (64 bit)", like I have seen in other pictures.
