Not authorized to mount ntfs

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I had to reinstall Debian because after updating my sid installation pixbuf and apache2 got totally screwed. So I went back to stable. I have installed ntfsprogs, but I'm still unable to mount the partition. It says not athorized, instead of a box where I can type my password to mount it. Any ideas? I may be missing something as I didn't do full gnome install, but I doubt it has to do anything wih it. Previously I had a similar issue, not authorized. But there was an option to open with archive manager and when I clicked it I always got password dialog and it opened normally in nautilus. Now (HowTos)
