Just got a fresh-out-the-box Razr Maxx. Fully charged it then ran it dry (~5 hours of unbelievably heavy usage...very happy so far).
At about 5%, I plugged it into my USB charger on my computer (using the charger that came with the Razr).

I just picked up a RAZR HD from my local VZW store, the phone is great but when I went to charge it this evening I noticed that the phone said "not charging" even though the cable was plugged in.
After playing around with the cable a little I realized that the port seems a little loose and that if you move the cable around you can make it so the contacts don't line up and thus
So I've setup chargers at multiple places in my home, in both cars and at work. I noticed differences in charge levels and charging times between these and was trying to rectify those with problems. Did a bit of reading and this is what I understood.
High power chargers(2.0 A or even 1.0 A) will charge the device faster.
Micro USB cables can be data/charge cables or charge only cables.
Iv lost my my Micro USB cable for my note, so have tryed 3 other Micro USB cables I have in the house & none of them will charge the phone......How-every the Micro USB cable from my girlfriends HTC sensation work fine, so not really sure what I should be looking for when ordering a replacement?
I noticed while playing MC3, [Paranoid Android rom] my battery percentage would slowly drop. I was plugged into the stock charger, but I was using a 3rd party [longer] micro USB cable.
I plugged in the stock asus micro USB, and I thought it started charging again.
what's up with this? just a cheap cable?

For the last few months I've had issues with charging my s2. I have had to hold the charger in a specific spot for it to charge in the past and recently I've been getting the 'voltage too high charging paused' pop up a lot more often.

I want to root, S-Off, etc - and install a custom ROM on my HTC Desire HD, however I have a unique challenge in that the micro USB port on my phone is faulty. It will charge if I use a micro USB cable from a WD My Passport, portal hard drive, because for some reason these are a little larger than the standard micro usb cable.
I'm not sure that i'm asking this in the right place but here is my question.i couldn't get an answer in Q and A section.
I wonder if it's possible to charge other devices by connecting them to otg cable and charging them by phone battery power.
