Noob with a question. Anyone out there offer root service for an Asus Transformer Prime? I dont have the knowledge, patience, or time to do it myself. I'd love to be able to send it out to have it done?

OK guys, I finally got around to creating this how-to video on getting your ASUS Transformer Prime all ready for modding! In this video you will find directions on how to root, unlock, and flash ClockworkMod Recovery to your tablet. This all-in-one tool, ViperMod PrimeTime v4.5, will do everything I just mentioned and can even unroot your Prime in case you need to send it in for service.
ASUS began rolling out an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Transformer Prime in Sweden yesterday, and today the company has followed with a statement regarding the rest of the world. Announced via the company’s official Facebook page, ASUS says global users can expect an update to the latest version “soon”.
After announcing that its Transformer Prime and Transformer Pad Infinity tablets would be receiving Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, ASUS has finally revealed the long-awaited details. In a post on the company’s Campus Life blog, ASUS released the official changelog for the update, detailing the specific changes that will be made.
ASUS said today that the Transformer Pad, Transformer Prime and Infinity will be the lucky tablet winners to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. That’s it so far. Does that mean it’s not final?

There’s no question that ASUS has become one of the most popular brands for Android tablets in just a short amount of time. The original Transformer had top-notch specs at an affordable price which resulted in short supplies right out of the gate. Fast forward about 6 months, and the follow up, the Transformer Prime launched with the best specs of any tablet in the world.
Yet another update is out for owners of the ASUS Transformer Prime in the United States. The Transformer Prime just had a substantial update last week that addressed rebooting, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues. The current update, version 184.108.40.206, seems much less hefty, as it primarily extends battery life.
