I have purchased my HTC One mini for a full price from an independent store. I have connected it to MegaFon (Russian cellphone operator) and now there is a carrier's app on a phone and it is recognized as "MegaFon HTC HTC One mini".
I don't want my phone to be carrier-branded. How did it happen and how do I remove it?
I'm wanting to get an M8. Should I get an unlocked one from Amazon or HTC or get the carrier branded model? Are the radios that come on the unlocked version going to support all the necessary AT&T bands? I read what is included on each model and I think they make it confusing on purpose by leaving things off. Thoughts?
