No network connection after Fedora 18 install

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi everyone, I upgraded my laptop from F17 to F18, a fresh install using the x86_64 DVD iso on a USB stick. This laptop has seen lots of Fedora releases already without real problems. But this time, I can't get a (wired of wireless) network connection. The network icon in the Gnome shell only shows a 'Network Settings' item, not a 'Wired' item. I can't start up the network service: Code: [root@zaphod ~]# systemctl status network.service network.service - LSB: Bring up/down networking           Loaded: loaded (/etc/rc.d/init.d/network)     (HowTos)
