I recently ported my phone # from Virgin Mobile to Straight Talk with no issues whatsoever. I originally ported to an old HTC Aria and then yesterday I switched my AT&T Sim card to a newly purchased AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3. It worked for about 1 day before I started having issues sending texts. I have tried a million different APN settings today and I am at a loss.
Alright guys i did search on here, and google before posting this thread and haven't really found an answer. Anyways my dads S3 has been acting weird lately, he lost his IMEI and we restored that and everything was fine, well a few days ago he had to travel and put the phone into airplane mode on the plane, got off the plane and it was stuck in roaming.
If this is a dumb question I apologize. I've had the original HTC Incredible for the last two years and just got a Samsung Stratosphere yesterday.
Does this phone require you to have the data connection on constantly in order to be able to send/receive pics by text? I am not able to send/receive pictures by text unless I have the data connection on.
I have galaxy note 2 that is unlocked that I got offline. I am using straight talk. Everything works fine except the picture messaging! Regular texting, 3g, WiFi, calling and all work perfectly, just can't send or receive pictures. I have tried all kinds of different APN settings but none seem to be working. . .
My phone refuses to receive or send picture messages. I can get video messages, just no picture messages. It has a Download button and refuses to download. I tried clearing all data from Handcent and default Text Messaging through the application area, and that didn't work either. I've read that a factory reset would fix it, but I'd rather not do that as I have a buttload of apps installed.
Dear all,
please help a relative newbie in desperate need of help! I have an S2 4G LTE that originally came from S. Korea but hasn't been unlocked, only updated to 4.0.4 about 6 weeks ago and has been working fine. 2 days ago I stopped being able to make any calls. I can receive calls, send and receive SMS and all mobile internet is working fine.
I have had intermittent problems with receiving texts and calls since day one of getting my first Android device from AT&T over a year ago. About every few weeks or so, text messages I receive will be delayed by 4+ hours from when the sender sent them until suddenly my phone alerts me to a ton of messages all at the same time.
So I have a galaxy nexus running on 4.2.2 on T-Mobile. I've looked around but couldn't find a solution. I receive repeat text messages over and over. There are times I'll receive a text 10 times. The most annoying thing ever receiving a total 66 text in 15 minutes that are all repeats. I throw my Sim in my nexus one running 2.3 and there's no issue. Called T-Mobile but no solution was resolved.
After my initial headaches of switching from my old Optimus V to the EVO V I've a new issue that cropped up yesterday. I have no 3G access anywhere I go, I've no 4G access in known 4G areas. I've restarted the phone. Pulled the battery etc but it's not connecting.
