I have some Mythtv setups that use 9.04 as the OS. They work great so I am not interested in updates or improvements.
They both set Daylight Savings on the wrong week and I would like to set them to do the change on the correct week. I only use them for over-the-air broadcasts so they are not connected to the internet and can't update time that way.
I'm on Fido with an unlocked Galaxy S3
After the daylight savings , I've been getting wrong timestamps for received text messages only , but not sent. The messages are 1 hour prior to the time i received them ie messaged received at 2pm will be 1pm. Anyone else experiencing this after daylight savings that are on Fido network , and anyone know a fix.
Hello, hopefully someone can help me with this problem. I tried to adjust my system clock to daylight savings time, but now everytime I restart the computer it's reset. For example, I set the clock to 11:40 AM, Mon. 15 Feb. Upon restart, it's now 12:05 AM, Tue. 16 Feb. I've readjusted the clock several times, and it resets at every reboot.
Is there any way to fix this? Thanks! :)
Why hasn't my time changed yet. I've restarted the phone a few times and it's still showing the wrong time. This is frustrating me since every clock in my house is showing the right time except my phone.
Reports that some iPhones and Androids on Vodafone experienced problems in the switchover from daylight savings time brings up the inevitable question: how can something that is a predictable, twice-yearly change in timing not go off like clockwork? o_O
Here in the UK, the clocks have just been set back one hour, so I'd like to know how to adjust this. I have seen the numerous threads on the forum about changing timezones, but my timezone is already correct. If I have it set as either GMT or London, it is one hour ahead. Is there any way to change this manually?
Hi folks,
I would like to read the start date and end date of the Daylight Saving Time for the given timezone in the given year. What's the function in C/C++ to read the start of the Daylight Saving date and end of Daylight saving date?
I'm using Linux 2.6.xx Kernel.
Hey all - I'm trying editting rc.conf as per thisoldman's instructions, restarting now - As for the rest of your replies, i don't use a login manager, have NTP installed, and don't dual-boot with Windows

One of Australia’s four big banks, the National Australia Bank or “nab” as they call themselves these days, is having issues with new users still unable to download nab’s iPhone or iPad app.
