http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I'm running Fedora 17 on an Acer 8951G laptop. After the latest updates to kernel 3.5 I can no longer use any external monitors. The system doesn't seem to detect the video card outputs correctly. With kernel 3.5.1, xrandr -q reports: xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default Screen 0: minimum 1920 x 1080, current 1920 x 1080, maximum 1920 x 1080 default connected 1920x1080+0+0 0mm x 0mm 1920x1080 0.0* and connected external monitors aren't detected. Under kernel 3.4.6 and earlier it reports: Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1920 x 1080, maximum (HowTos)
