Several companies have announced Blu-ray players and media streaming boxes for Google's Android-based Google TV TV platform. Sony has its NSZ-GS7 Network Media Player and NSZ-GP9 Blu-ray disc player, Vizio tipped its VBR430 3D Blu-ray player and VAP430 Stream Player -- as well as several Google TV-enabled R Series HDTVs -- and E Fun will provide its Nextbox set-top....
OnLive has announced it will be integrated with G2 Series LG Smart TV with Google TV TVs Televisions (wow that was a lot of TVs). The update should begin rolling out today. Those unfamiliar with the game streaming service can check out our hands on earlier this year.
I want to buy a google tv for my mom so she can use it to watch netflix and listen to pandora and stuff but the tv she has is old and only has the Red White and Yellow (i think they're called rca). I also want it to be a pass though like the Vizio Co-Star. Im not sure if all are but the ones I find that have rca on the back don't have a input labeled so im not sure.
Hi, I have a Sony NSZ-GS7 Google TV.
I have a problem of compatibility from my Google TV and my cable tv decoder.
I'm from Brazil and my cable provider is NET TV.
The decoder is the PACE HDC74X1.
When i plug the cable decoder to the Google TV via HDMI it freezes and stops working.
After shutting down and unplugging, it works fine again.
Does anyone has any clue of what is happening

Vizio announces a low-cost Google TV-powered set-top box that also doubles as a games console. Just add an HDMI-ready TV.
The computer I'm buying only has HDMI. My display has DVI and Displayport.
Will I be able to hook them up using an "HDMI to Displayport" converter cable in Ubuntu 12.04?
The videocard is IntelHD 4000.
Thanks.
I purchased a Monoprice VGA-->HDMI adapter (my Thinkpad X201 laptop only has VGA out). 12.04 displays via the box, but only gives me the option of 800 x 600, or 1024 x 768. Straight VGA cable to an external monitor would give me 1920 x 1200. Is there a way for me to force the external connected HDMI (through the converter box) to display at higher resolution?
I have both a genuine Samsung MHL adapter and the S2 mhl adapter with the 5pin to 11pin converter and I've seen both of these work on other phones.
However, I can't get my video out working on my S3. Both of them connect and bring up active charge and indicate onscreen that "HDMI cable connected". So I know the adapter and cable is being detected but no signal on HDTV.
