Hi,
My xt910 (GSM latam 4.04) was running perfectly with busybox and rooted and I tried to start the backtrack5 that time I did not run.
when I ran the boot script wahs show me that there was a problem in busybox applet, ok, I tried to reinstall busybox from inside the own and other errors appeared.
So I've got the fl26 rooted on my phone, Busybox says it's rooted, root checker says it's rooted, with superuser 3.1.3 installed, but superuser always denies everything & changing the the way superusers handles apps doesn't help. Anybody know why this is happening ?
I gonna try to make Embedded Linux distribution and my board is raspberry pi.
i have a filesystem build with buildroot, to compile code for a device using a old kernel and uClibc.
Now i want to chroot into the fs. The problem is, i dont have /bin/bash, just /bin/busybox. How do i say chroot to use busybox ash instead? I already tried to create a link to busybox ash, but chroot still says failed to run command /bin/bash. no such file or directory.
i tried root my wt19i mobile.
recently i upgraded it to ICS by using flashtool
bt i coudn't root it bcos it says
busybox: /system/xbin/showkey: Read-only file system
busybox: /system/xbin/slattach: Read-only file system
busybox: /system/xbin/sleep: Read-only file system
busybox: /system/xbin/smemcap: Read-only file system
busybox: /system/xbin/softlimit: Read-only file system
busybox: /s
First of all a huge thanks to Sextape for the FI27 release. Thanks to Calkulin for use of the install script. Thanks to Chainfire for SuperSU.
Flash this to get Deodexed/Odexed stock FI27 with latest root (SuperSU), su binary and Busybox 1.20. These Do Not include a kernel.
There is a version for no data wipe and data wipe.
(Sorry if I have mistakes in writing but I´m doing my best :D )
Well, here I go again...
I have previously rooted my ZTE Score and had full functionality with superuser and busybox. everything was fine. then, I accidently wiped my phone and now I cant, for the life of me, get superuser to update the binary to "gain root access". i've tried to use Super Oneclick, Zerg and z4 to "reroot" my phone and all have claimed to have succeeded.
OK, I am not sure if my phone is rooted now or for sure 100%. What I can tell you is that I do have the following apps installed and did run Root Checker from the market. It did tell me I have root access.
Installed -
Root Explorer
BusyBox
Superuser
All of which are telling me that they are rooted.
Ok now with that being said here is my problem.
