http://forums.opensuse.org – Hi, I installed openSUSE 11.3 on my iMac along with "Mac Snow Leopard, Windows 7" to make it a "Triple Boot". But after installing the "GRUB/LILO", it does not chain with the boot loader "REFIT" that I use. Each time I try to boot into "Windows/openSUSE", it shows a message: no boot device found, insert boot disc". So why isn't the "GRUB/LILO" working? Any suggestions is appreciated. Ed (Distributions)

After installing the openSUSE 11.3(GRUB/LILO) to my Triple Boot iMac, I cannot boot into Win 7 or openSUSE 11.3 with the boot loader rEFIt.

I clicked on the selection, and an error message shows "no bootable device".

I have to INSEART THE OPENSUSE 11.3 MEDIA, TO MAKE MY IMAC BOOT INTO WIN 7 OR OPENSUSE.

I'm triple booting my iMac.

But after installing "GRUB/LILO", I stilll need to insert the "DVD" to boot into either Win 7 or opensuse 11.3

Why is my install of the GRUB/LILO boot loader not working?

Hi,

I'm trying to install openSUSE on my Mac BooK Pro.

I installed the software on my laptop but cannot boot into it.

No matter I choose to boot from "Windows", or "openSUSE", it always shows that "No bootable device".

I have to use the dvd disc to boot in to either windows or linux.

So what went wrong?
