Nintendo announces no-glasses 3D version of DS, the 3DS

Nintendo Australia has just released sales figures for the 3DS gaming device.  The glasses free 3D gaming experience seems to be a hit breaking early sales records for hand-held entertainment.

The DSi XL is the supersized hand-held gaming device from Nintendo.  Launching next month Nintendo are hoping to grab a whole new demographic under their influence.  Today Nintendo Australia announced the DSi XL pricing.

Nintendo are taking the new hand-held 3DS, the glasses-free 3D gaming device, on a tour around Australia (well most of it anyway).  This will give people a chance to try out the magical 3D effect, and start saving their cash for the March 31st release date.

Nintendo has announced that it will release an updated version of the Wii gaming console in 2012.

Nintendo has announced drastic cuts to the price of both the DSi and DSi XL hand-held gaming devices.  Yet the 3DS remains at a price that leaves it vulnerable to competitor attacks.

Due to be officially launched in Australia tomorrow night, said to be at a price $100 more than the regular version, Nintendo 3DS will have you seeing deeply into the third dimension.

At the Electronic Entertainment Expo show in Los Angeles, Nintendo has revealed the snazziest piece of new gaming hardware the show has to offer.  Powering up the Wii to high definition levels and introducing a game changing controller that provides an alternate view for each gaming experience.  The Wii U and new touch-screen based controller may silence the Nintendo nay-says.
