http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I am using a brand new clean FC12 installation. When I try to mount volumes from a server I get the following nfs error. All my other cleints running FC9-11 can mount this volume on the server, but FC12 has this curious headache. I have a hunch is is the dreaded SELinux which causes it. Anyone have an idea? ]# mount -o soft -t nfs 192.168.1.253:/public /public mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on 192.168.1.253:/public, missing codepage or helper program, or other error (for several filesystems (e.g. nfs, cifs) you might need a /sbin/mount.<type> helper program) In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so More info dmesg |tail yields [root@minimac-1 init.d]# dmesg | tail JBD: Spotted dirty metadata buffer (dev = dm-0, blocknr = 3359).
