In a stunning twist, Google has indefinitely delayed the launch of their Nexus Q device. While it’s bad news for some that were eager to get their hands on it, it’s great news for the customers that pre-ordered the device.

It’s safe to say that Google’s new Nexus 7 has been in high demand since its announcement at this years Google IO event. With so many pre-orders, I’m sure it has been quite a challenge for Google to ship these units out on a timely fashion.

While everyone is highly anticipating the release of Google’s next 2 Nexus devices, the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10, many questions has risen within the community on how Google will handle it when it’s available this Tuesday on November 13th. There were some questions whether there will be pre-orders or if Google will even ship these devices on the 13th when ordered.

Why am I not even surprised? With the debacle that went down this past Tuesday on Google’s Nexus 4 launch, I kind of expected them to have trouble fulfilling the influx of orders for the device. I was just hoping I wouldn’t be one of them. Sadly, I was and the Google Play Store has sent me an e-mail regarding my Nexus 4′s order status.

Well... I'm wondering if any of you have been through this. I've ordered my nexus 4 on the 1st of February... When I mail google with my order number it says it should have arrived yesterday...

When I check google play store it says "Pre-Ordered". Any ideas guys?!

Google’s Nexus 4 has certainly proven itself to be golden for Google and Android fans. The mania is not confined to the device itself. Those lucky enough to have one of the devices despite the severe shortage may be looking for some lightweight protection for the smartphone. Google is ready with a solution in the form of some black bumpers to wrap the Nexus 4.

Last week Google began shipping out the Nexus 7 to lucky customers in the U.S. while our friends up north and across the pond had to sit back and wonder when they would get their turn. Well, it looks like your up to bat folks! If you live in the U.K. or Canada and have placed an order for a N7, be on the lookout for a shipping notice from Google.
