(for home use)
--------------
Wiring connection:
PC -> Router -> Modem -> ISP

The modem is provided with 4 sockets, only one being used and connected to the router.
I'm prepared to set up an addional network
I am trying to set it up so that I can either 1) have an ad hoc connection between my arch linux computer so I can stream music to the xbox and/or 2) Bridge a connection between the ethernet link between the xbox and computer...
I have Cisco router in a remote location. I have attached a modem to the aux port of the router. The problem I am facing is how do I dial the modem's phone number from my computer in my house that uses a cable internet connection?
I do not want the modem connected all the time since the phone line will be used for calls also.
I know this is probably a long shot but this phone can produce some pretty amazing things so I'm just wondering if this is possible.
Right now I'm connected to Xbox Live by ethernet, my laptop goes to my xbox but it's beginning to annoy me as I'm only using the laptop for XBL connection (the screen/keyboard is broken) I'm thinking would it be possible to use the S3 as a router by micro usb?
After Starting the system, first- time connection of internet works/access the net-works(updating, browsing, etc.).but if, internet is disconnected, manually by me or automatically by any reason.
Well heres my problem, im good with windows computers but have no idea about linux. OKay i installed the brand new OPENSUSE DVD, everything installed ok, but then i got to the internet problem, well connection problem. 1. I am going through a router to a att dsl modem.

have a DSL modem setup with 192.168.1.1 local IP. Everything working fine. Then have a linksys wireless router that I have connected to the DSL modem. I have enabled DHCP on the wireless router, and have assigned 192.168.107.1 IP address to this router, with 255.255.255.0 as the mask.
For those hoping or wondering if Google will eventually reschedule their Google Nexus event that was originally planned for today, you can stop wondering. It now appears that Google was going to announce the 5 Nexus devices (16/32GB Nexus 10 tablet, 8/16GB Nexus 4, and the 32GB HSPA+ Nexus 7) that were added to the Play Store today, but they will not be rescheduling the event itself.
