OK so there's one things that annoying me about my tablet..... A lot of times in the lock screen it says it charging but the charger is not hooked up... Its really weird anyone else having this ??
I just picked up a Note 2 last night and the charging is being very annoying. It beeps and pops up Charging 99% and lights the screen up. Then the screen fades out and a bit later it does this again. It is a never ending cycle it seems. My phone also locked up making some weird noise while on the charger and would not respond to anything so I had to remove the battery.
My Nexus 7's (2013) battery was low so I decided to charge it. I plugged it in to a AC adapter and it showed that it was charging. The tablet's battery was decreasing! I decided to turn it off and charge it. I've been trying to fix the tablet for a while. It showed empty battery icon, LED light above the usb port was flickering 5 times. Then it showed no more sign of life.
My Nexus is now unuseable. 2 nights ago I had it plugged in all night and it did not charge. Last night it charged. However, now it boots comes up to the homescreen and shutsdown. Other weird things have happened like seeing speckles on the screen. I can't get it to boot in safe mode because it shuts down before I can bring up the safe mode screen. After it ****s down I can't do anything with it.

I picked up the Nokia DT-900 Qi charger at a local AT&T store yesterday and tried my first charge last night. I laid the N7-2 on top of the charger and the light on the charger turned on solid. The N7-2 also indicated it was being charged. I checked it in the morning and the tablet was charged to 100% so it seems to be working.
SO I am thinking of building my own charger for the Nexus 10 (for personal use only, not to sell). I am thinking of using a 5v PSU that puts out 6 amps (30 watts). I would be wiring the USB cable into the outputs of the PSU for connection to the tablet. Does anyone know if this would be safe to do for charging?
