Just updated Google voice, with the new feature to view visual voicemails in the missed call log selected I don't get notified via sound, vibrate, or pulse light. All notifications are checked off in the Google voice settings, don't notice any settings for notification in the dialer/phone. All notifications work fine when Voicemail dispay is unchecked in the Google voice settings.
Sorry if this is re-post of something that is already resolved [i tried searching for it but could not find any threads specific to HTC One regarding this].
I'm trying to setup Google Voice as my voicemail service on my HTC One [AT&T].
Been trying to setup Google Voice as my voicemail on my new Nexus 4. Originally I thought maybe I had to forward when unanswered to my Google Voice number. Then I found the Google Voice app, installed it, and configured my voicemail settings to use GV instead of My Carrier. I set up a message and everything.
I had Google Voice set up for my voicemail on my Inspire and then on my Galaxy Nexus, but when I try to set it up on my GS3, I get an error. Is there a specific AT&T step somewhere in here that I am missing? I tried switching in the phone settings, but it's not taking.
For a long time I used Google Voice for voicemail only (even though I had a phone number assigned for the account). At that time I had conditional call forwarding on my cell phone setup to forward to Google Voice, had my cell phone listed as a forwarding number, and Google Voice set to send calls made to my cell phone directly to voicemail.
In the past day I (and a caller) have not been a to leave a voicemail after the line rings through. We hear a message that says, "were sorry your call can't be completed at this time, thank you". In the Voicemail settings I checked then unchecked "Voice Privacy" does this have anything to do with it?
Hi All,
So I got Straight Talk with ATT on my S3 and tried to setup Google Voice as the voicemail.
I initially ran into the issue of GV crashing when trying to set it up from my phone/app.
I'm trying to make my default voicemail be Google Voice rather than Sprint's Visual Voicemail. Is that even possible without doing the complete Voice integration on this phone? It was possible on my previous Evo 4G LTE, but I can't seem to find the option in the S4. Thanks for the input!

Ok, my first question is this.... Does everyone using google voicemail have the same access number? I had never paid any attention but recently my wife and I started having problems with our google voicemail (we r on Verizon...). When I looked at our accounts at google, I see we both have the exact same access number. Is that how it is supposed to be??
