Newly installed Ubuntu on laptop, Wireless will not fuction

http://askubuntu.com – I am working on a new Toshiba Satellite c855d, and this morning it had windows 7 on it. Wireless was working. When I booted Ubuntu, wireless was once again working. I install 12.04 onto it, and now the wireless connection is no longer functioning. I'm not quite sure what to do, and I'm not terribly knowledgeable on the subject. Thanks for any replies! I have upgraded from Ubuntu 10 to 12.10. The wireless stopped working, so I did a clean install. I have tried a few fixes, but none have worked. It used to see wireless networks, but wouldn't log in.

I would appreciate any help.

I a trying to get Ubuntu 10.04 working on a family members new netbook.

The only real problem I have encountered thus far is the wireless is not working (it worked when booted to windows).

I have been to (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EeePC/Fixes) and still have a few question and have not been able to get anywhere.
