Newbie: WiFi network detecting, but not connecting

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi, I just moved to Fedora 11 but can't figure out how to get my wireless working. I have the broadcom driver installed and the Network Manager Applet shows the available wireless networks, but when I click on them they just don't connect. Any ideas?? I get the following output on lspci regarding the wireless adapter: 03:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11a/b/g (rev 02) Thanks in advance. Prashant. (HowTos)

Hi I just deleted my windows XP and installed Ubuntu 9.10 earlier this morning. I used wired connection to get drivers for my wireless network card.

When I did lspci, the very last line states:

Network Controller: Broadcom Coporation BCM4311 902.11b/g WLAN(rev 01)

Hello all. I've been searching for a solution to this problem forever now but I can't seem to find any solution that works. I just installed Fedora 17 and was working on getting the wireless drivers installed. My laptop has a Broadcom BCM4312 network controller (seems to be troublesome for a lot of people).

Hello all, I've tried looking through some of the problems with wireless networking and I can't quite find one that resolves my issue. Here's the deal.

The install of Ubuntu 11.10 on this laptop is about a week old, and wireless was working with the proprietary Broadcom STA wireless drivers.

It seems a lot of people are having this problem, but none of the posted solutions have worked for me so far. My driver is installed and activated, I have tried removing and re-adding the network, and various other fixes.

I am new to linux/Ubuntu and need some help!

I have a new Dell Precision M6400 core I7 laptop. i am not able to connect to wireless network.

i tried all options in the config guide but still was not successful. In the additional Drivers window i see that it is using Broadcom STA wireless driver.

I have Ubuntu 12.04 using Broadcom BCM4313 and can't get it to successfully connect to my wifi. I'm sure the problem is not with my wifi since other devices are able to connect. It detects networks but whenever I try to connect, I only get "Connection Failed".

I checked my drivers, modules and blacklist but I'm not sure if there is something I'm missing.
