http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi I have a laptop with 2 hard drives. 60 GB each I have winXP in harddisk 1 I want to install fedora on harddisk 2 I go through the installation of fedora 12 from DVD. but at the end when system reboots I do not get the dual boot menu. and laptop boots directly to windows. during the installation process I get a menu "Boot Loader Device" , where would you like to install the bootloader for your system? option1: master boot record /dev/sdb option2: first partition of boot partition /dev/sdb1. from what I understand ( please correct if wrong) 1. MBR is not modified to add fedora OS. 2. MBR should be in my windwos partition ( so why I am given the option to install MBR in /dev/sdb instead of /dev/sba. please provide steps to install fedora on a second hard drive (/dev/hdb) of 2 hard drive system with windows installed on /dev/hda. and for my case which is better to use windows loader or GRUB? Thanks for any help (HowTos)
