Newbie HOWTO: Make secondary hard drive read and write

http://crunchbang.org – I was having trouble accessing my secondary harddrive. This is how I managed, starting with the /etc//fstab file, and ending with using root to change the drive permissions without terminal. I used the latter route because I had it mounted, I had filled out the /etc/fstab file, yet my regular user couldn't write to it. I had already formated the hard drive to ext3 with GParted. First, I checked my hard drive's UUID. Maybe there's a faster way to do this, but I did it in two steps. In terminal, I typed: lsblkls is the general listing command. I don't know what blk means, but (HowTos)
