Is it "in gmrun for example" or is it just gmrun, exactly?My guess is Xorg did not freeze, but the keyboard was grabbed by gmrun.As a simple test, write a script:#!/bin/sh
date +%s >> /tmp/gmrun.txt
date +%s >> /tmp/gmrun.txtmake it executable and run it in gmrun.
The box that pops up to launch an app when you hit Alt - F2 is gmrun.Crunchbang, or at least my version of it (this may have changed) doesn't ship with a gmrun config file. It's got the /usr/share/gmrun/gmrunrc symlink but not /etc/gmrunrc or ~/.gmrunrcI'm getting a little more out of gmrun with the following config Terminal = terminator
TermExec = terminator --command
