can any one help, im trying to download skype to use, ive gone into the app store and chosen skype pressed download and after about a minute it says it has downloaded but i cant seem to find it to open up the skype page, ive even tried going to the skype web page and signing in that way via google and it recognizes my user name but cant get to my contacts. What am i doing wrong???
If i try to download skype in my area the browser is redirected to skype.tom.com which has a modified version of skype.
When i download it through synaptic, i have to enable the 3rd party option.
In such a case when i install Skype through Synaptic do i get the original skype or its modified (tom) version ? How can i make out which version is installed on my system ?
