Newbie’s Guide to Rooting
If you’re reading this article, chances are you’re either already rooted or thinking about rooting your device. The thing with rooting is that instead of folks falling into two different camps, I believe there are three camps.
I've been toying with the idea of Rooting my nexus 7. But if I'm honest I don't fully understand what Rooting does or what I'll be able to do once my N7 is rooted.
Would someone be kind enough to explain it to me? Thanks

Hi,
I haven't rooted my Nexus 7 yet, but I have had this device for couple of months and it has been great for me.

So I admit I am an avid user/fanboy of iOS, and have been for some time. For my birthday, however, I got a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (GT-5100), and I plan on making the most of it. On my iOS devices, I've jailbroken them, and I understand everything there is to gain and benefit from them. With Android, I'm lost.
