http://androidforums.com – I want to start off by saying that there are so many good ROMs out by our great developers; however, it seems many are not far off from stock. So far, I have been on cn for like two months now. I've tried a few different ROMs in between but came across nothing that made me stay and ended up back on cn. This got me thinking/ reminiscing the og. There were so many different ROMs that were no where near similar. I remember when team nocturnal dropped the xplod ROM or when deck released reloaded; those were different than everything I had tried. I know that having sense allowed for mor (General)

I want to know if I can flash a kernel but stay stock no custom ROMS? and when I flash a kernel or a Rom (when I decide to try Roms) will that lose all my info again like when I unlocked DNA? thinking about using flash image gui thanks in advance

I believe there are three major JB ROMs development going on as far as I can see. Some JB ROMs have more issue than others, some does not. And we are so grateful for these developers taking time and giving us these ROMs.

I have a few questions about sense 4.0 roms: What is the difference between 4.0 4.0a or lite roms? How is the camera compared to the stock rom and are all effects like on the onex are working well? How is the battery life/stablity/performance compared with stock? Are there other cons of using sense 4.0 instead of the stock?

Are all of the stock ICS roms still based on the leaked Virgin mobile update, or are there any true Sprint stock roms out there? Didn't there used to be a spreadsheet style list of all roms somewhere? I can't seem to find what I'm thinking of.

So I've been on edge about updating my rush to a Rom that has been published. My concern is if I should wait for another update from samsung/boost, or just go ahead and start using these Roms and roms to come. The stock rom takes up way to much ram and I find myself having to clear it or my phone crashes and restarts.

I'm currently running stock JB with the 2.3 kernal CPU overclock.
