I've just noticed that Pycharm Python IDE is now under the Apache 2 license and Jetbrains has moved the IDE to an open community edition.
I've tested code that requires root access in pyCharm by running sudo pycharm.sh but this is not the way I would recommend of doing so, i know its possible to debug with sudo privileges by running the python interpreter as sudo in pyCharm but how do we do this?
The Intel graphics driver on my Lenovo laptop uses ctrl+alt+arrow keys to change the screen orientation. I was able to disable it from the tray icon menu easily enough (and made sure the registry changed accordingly).
PyCharm uses the same combination for navigating back\forwards, but the combination doesn't work for me in PyCharm.
