Not too sure how to work this site yet so I apologize if this is in the wrong place. Yesterday my phone dropped into water for less than 2 seconds, the water damage indicators are still white. My phone was working up until late last night when the screen was tinted green and flashes on and off continuously.
So I dropped my phone in the toilet last night, I wasn't sure what to do with it so I took it apart and vacuumed the phone for about 20 minutes then sat it in rice overnight.
I tried turning it on this morning and it all seemed to work except it won't connect to the internet (it says it's connected on wifi but it isn't) or mobile data, plus the battery seems to be depleting rapidly (which I'm gues
Hi guys and gals
Got a problem with my sensation xl as it won't pick up any reception and when I try and connect I get the error message Your SIM card does not allow connection to this network. Just for a bit of background the phone has/had over a year warranty left until my son dropped the phone in snow!
How do you tell if there's an application running in the background that you don't know about?
My reason for asking is that a couple of times now my HTC Evo V G4 has become very hot, which causes the battery to drain rather quickly.
Yesterday it happened while I had it sitting in the sleep mode on the table. I didn't know it until I went to make a phone call.
Hey everyone, I know you can get this phone pretty cheap unlocked for GSM users, and since I recently switched over to Tmobile was wondering if anyone has gotten this phone and used it on the tmobile network?
I was thinking about getting this phone as a back up phone just cuz it's Tiny and well sleak, but I hear you can only use this on Tmobiles 2g/Edge network?
Hey people. I have a situation here. I dropped my phone getting out of my truck yesterday and it was pouring rain, just my luck!in Vegas pouring rain. Anyway, I had no idea my phone was on the ground until about 20 or so minutes my girlfriend found it and told me about it. I immediately took it apart and put it in a bowl of rice. This morning I turned it on to see of it worked, it booted up fine.
Hi,
My gf's Droid Inc got some water spilled on it yesterday. We took the battery out and put the two halves of the phone into a bowl of rice for a few hours, and then left it to air dry for a few hours longer. When I switched it back on it seemed to be working OK except for it now thinks that there's a headset/mic plugged into the jack at all times.
So I just got this phone a few days ago for 80$ at target, since I am switching over from t-mobile from Virgin just because of the data network I downgraded for a bit.
Any reviews on this phone from anyone who has it? Mine isn't activated yet and yes I know this is a low end phone so don't expect to hear a lot of good things.
My phone dropped in a i sick for maybe one second, it was fine for an hour then the screen went all discoloured, i set it in rice and it was back to normall in 15 minutes... 3 hours later the screen is flashing on and off and is completely tinted green. I have NO idea what to do, its been in rice all night and it still doesnt work properly.
