Got a few questions:
Now then coming from a Galaxy Note and Iphone 4s.
1) Battery life is it as good as the above phones
2) How quick does it recharge, not a slow re charger, needs to be as speedy as the Iphone
3) Wifi strength is it OK like the Note or powerful like the Iphone
4) GPS does it find satellites instantly like the Note or pretty quick like the Iphone..

Hi...I've had an iphone ever since they have been out, but with the underwhelming iphone 5 announcement I am going to get an S3 or the New Note 2. But I have some questions. I'm sorry if they seem silly or obvious, but I just want to know for sure before i cross over.

just got the note 2, and love it. however, my plantronics voyager pro (3 years old) which worked fine on my iphone 4, is paired, but doesn't bring up a dialer on the note 2. i was told by bestbuy that i need a newer bt headset. i don't trust them, so i need to know if others are able to use the bt headsets with teh note 2.

I cannot send or receive images with the Galaxy Note 2. My speeds bounce from 3G to H to H+.
I'm about to get either a Note or Note 2. The price here in Turkey for the Note 2 is likely to be around 2,300TL (£810), whereas the Note is available for 1,500TL (£530), a significant difference.....a case, car mount, dock, screen protector, MicroSD, and whatever else could be bought with the difference.
I'm an iPhone 4 user and upgraded to the iPhone 5 when it came out. I returned it because of problems with the wifi. I went to the AT&T store tonight to look at the Note 2 and S3. The Note 2 was just too big for me. However, I liked the S3 a lot. But the location of the power button kept me from pulling the trigger and switching to the S3.
I posted in the Note 2 section as well but since S3 and Note 2 seem to run same software I thought maybe someone here could help me with my Note 2 texting issue.
I was trying to use the swipe feature when viewing contacts, swipe one way when viewing contacts to text, swipe the other way to call.
My problem is when I swipe to text it keeps trying to text the persons home number NOT the mobil
I have been a iphone person forever. I finally tried a couple of droid phones, didn't like, went back to iphone. I got the Samsung Galaxy S3 and fell in love. my only problem was that even with it in powersaving mode, i would still have half battery life by noon without that much use. I wiped it out, took out the battery, etc but the battery life was horrible.
Hi everyone,
I'm using the dialer that comes default with SN2 and it always happens up with the keypad.
There are four available tabs: keypad, recent calls, favorites and contacts.
I've looked and haven't found a way to modify which tab to open up with.
Does anyone know of a way to have it open up in a different tab than the keypad, like recent calls for example?
