I have a 4th gen ipod touch and am trying to laod music on it with banshee.
it seems to work better than gtkpod or rhythmbox... it seems i can load music onto the ipod but when i disconnect and check on the ipod the songs don't show up...
any ideas?
I have read other threads, including launchpad complaint of the same nature. Yet I feel the need.
Unlike the problem here: Rhythmbox iPod Issues?
when I sync Ipod and Rhythmbox, the song does get transferred.
Alright guys..You did not like my last question because i used rude language..Ok im not gonna swear or anything anymore but it's been 2 weeks and i still can't put songs in my Ipod.
I have imported songs from rhythm box to my ipod (32 Gb, 2nd generation).
I can play them on the ipod without problem, but when I try to browse into the song (to go from 1 min to 5min for eg.), the song starts from the beginning (but the time continues at 5 min).
Makes me think that the index of the file is corrupted.
It says:
"Plug in your PSP, iPod, MP3 player and use Rhythmbox to download, store, buy and play music.
Share playlists with your friends.
Access Last.fm directly through Rhythmbox to stream your favourite music.
Stream and play video from YouTube, BBC and others."
When I sync my music using my windows 7 partition and itunes, my music plays fine. When I sync it using Ubuntu 12.04 and Rhythmbox, songs tend to skip, get cut short a few minutes, or just disappear from my iPod completely. I would rather not have to restart my computer into a different OS just to sync my iPod. Is there any way to fix this?

I don;t want to sync, I just want to copy a bunch of MP3s to my ipod. I used to use to just drag the files over and drop tham on the ipod icon. This doesn't seem to work anymore. Any ideas?
not sure how to get the ipod to recognize the files put on it?? It says they are on there? but then the ipod says no files. I have tried 2 other mp3's "sandisk" & "Shuffle", same story.
