I am trying to install Ubuntu 12.10. However, I get the following error:
(initramfs) Unable to find a medium containing a live file system
I get this every time I try to install it on an old dual core PC. I'm booting from a USB but don't have any other usb ports in use. Is there something in particular that I'm doing wrong or should I try installing using a CD?

Hi, I have Ubuntu 12.0.4 live cd on my other computer right now. But for some reason it isn't working correctly. I'm trying to install it over windows 7 but after it pulls up the purple ubuntu loading screen, a minute or two passes and I get this error everytime:
(initramfs) unable to find a medium containing a live file system.
Someone please help me, I don't know what is going on with Ubuntu!

Parabola, a project based on Archlinux that aims to provide a lightweight and flexible GNU/Linux distribution, is now at version 2012.10.17. According to the developers of Parabola, this is a new install medium available created by Esteban Carnevale (alfplayer).
