So I've decided to build my first computer. :) I've decided to go with the Phantom 410 case. I'm not sure if I want to get the Full Tower or the Mid-Tower version yet. Don't really see much of a difference besides the price and space. What I really need help in is deciding on a CPU and motherboard. I'd like to keep it Intel and Ivy Bridge.
Hi community. I'm looking for some input on building or buying a computer. I'm leaning toward a build for price, but let's put the cart before the horse. I HAVE to put Windows on it, at least one release bootable. The others I can vbox. Ubuntu will be the main OS I use. I don't do anything that requires a lot of beef, but I do want to build the most powerful computer I can.
Im noticing that some vendors like mariadb and node.js have pre-build binaries for linux. One for 32bit and 64bit. I'm used to having to build from the source. So what are the advantage in either building from source code to just using a pre-build binary. One point of the pre-build binaries is that installing is faster using pre-build binaries.
