Okay so I am fairly new to the Android scene so please go easy. I have been experimenting with my phone with some launchers and I've settled for Nova which is pretty nice, but my main concern is does me switching to ART mean my warranty is void? Or am I getting the concept of this wrong, is switching to ART rooting or is that a totally different thing all together?
Since wlan can operate on both 2.4 and 5 Ghz I would like to know how the switching between frequencies takes place in these systems. How will the system decide and switch by itself in which frequency it should transmit out of the two.
I have noticed a lot of lag on my GS5, more than I should be getting, so I'm thinking about switching to a different brand and flagship phone. I'm thinking either the M8, the Nexus 5, or the Sony Xperia Z3.
I'd kinda like the Nexus 5 for the stock android, but I'm a spec guy, and I'm concerned about the specs as they don't seem up to par with the S5.
@Alad -- nice workaround! Yes, switching to the mozilla program solves the problem for me, too. And a nice new repo to play with; reminds me of Medibuntu. It would be nice to know what caused the actual problem -- my wife's machine, basically identical, doesn't have it -- but so long as flash works...
I am against the contract model. Can't stand contracts. I'm on virgin mobile atm, looks like they're switching things around a lot, plus its harder to find VM phones in stores. I'm thinking abt switching to straight talk. So an unbiased VM vs ST would be nice.. Thanks guys
